The geographical location of Rastatt is the focus of this tour. Today, the Rhine flows far to the west of the city and the Murg flows through the middle of the city. Things used to be different: originally, Rastatt was surrounded by water from both the west and the east. There are still traces of this today, which can be discovered on the cycle tour. As the cycle route covers a large area around Rastatt, the tour is divided into two parts. Part A and part B each take around three and a half hours. The routes are each around 30 kilometers long. There are several stops along the way for natural history information and explanations.
